The shelf itself was excellent, however the protective edging provided was obviously the wrong "size". I cut the edging to length and applied it, There is where the struggle began. By the time I could get to the other end the middle or end had already backed off. The edging needs to be sized for the thickness of the metal. I think it fine for its pourpase as far as quality, just not he specific application. If a concern of windshield damage is that large that edge should be hot dipped or an adhesive based edging supplied, or better yet the correct size. I believe the visor shelf will be a great asset in the days and months to come. Great product overall from a great company!

I had high hopes for this but it just doesn’t work for what I need. I was planning on mounting my midland gmrs radio to it but it won’t fit between the header and the shelve. With the shelf installed the visors will only fold down vertical which makes using the visor pretty much worthless. I have the slipstream and the slide out shelf from diabolical which I absolutely love.

This shelf is light weight, does not interfere with visor, rear mirror, or grab handles. Its going to be perfect for mounting a GMRS radio and extra storage. Extremely happy with the fit and function of this new shelf.
